This Privacy Policy applies to Magai.co and its affiliated services (collectively, “Magai,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and governs our data collection, usage, and sharing practices. This policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information, including personal information, in conjunction with your access to and use of the Magai platform and services.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our services to you. The types of information we may collect are:
a. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) You Provide
We collect PII only when you voluntarily provide it to us. This may include:
- Full name — provided during account registration
- Email address — provided during account registration or newsletter signup
- Password — created during account registration (stored in hashed form)
- Profile photo — optionally uploaded to your account
- Google account data — if you choose to sign in via Google OAuth (name, email, and profile photo as provided by Google)
- Support communications — any information you voluntarily provide when contacting our customer support team
You may provide PII when you register for an account, subscribe to a plan, contact customer support, submit feedback or feature requests on our public product roadmap, or otherwise voluntarily provide information through the platform.
b. Payment Information
We do not directly collect or store your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or other payment instrument details. All payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Stripe may collect your credit card number, billing address, and phone number in order to process transactions on your behalf. Stripe’s collection and use of your information is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
c. User-Generated Content
When you use the Magai platform, we store the content you create and interact with, including:
- Chat conversations — your prompts, messages, and AI-generated responses
- Generated images and videos — outputs created through AI image and video models
- Uploaded files and images — documents and media you upload to the platform
- Custom AI personas — persona configurations and associated knowledge documents you create
- Saved prompts — reusable prompts you create or import
- Workspace configurations — workspace names, logos, custom contexts, and access rules
- Document editor content — notes and long-form content created in the document editor
- Imported content — text imported from URLs or YouTube video transcripts, retained as part of your chat history
- Custom trained models — training images and resulting models you create, stored by our training infrastructure provider (Fal.ai) for your repeated use
This content is stored to enable platform functionality such as chat history, image library, re-run generation, PDF export, and workspace management.
d. Automatically Collected Information
When you use our services, certain information is collected automatically through analytics and tracking technologies. This information is not associated with your Magai user account and does not contain PII. It includes:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
- Referring URL / how you arrived at our site
- Pages viewed
- Session duration
This information is collected through the following analytics tools:
- Google Analytics — for website usage analytics
- Fathom Analytics — for privacy-focused website analytics
- Meta Pixel — for advertising conversion tracking
- X (Twitter) Pixel — for advertising conversion tracking
- Google Ads tracking — for advertising conversion tracking
The advertising pixels listed above transmit behavioral data (such as pages visited and actions taken on our site) to their respective platforms for the purpose of measuring advertising effectiveness. While we do not use this data to build custom or lookalike audiences for ad targeting, these platforms may use the data they receive in accordance with their own privacy policies. See Section 12 below regarding your rights related to this tracking.
e. Platform Usage Data
Due to the nature of our application, we track certain usage data that is associated with your account in order to provide core platform functionality:
- AI models selected for each message or generation
- Chat history and generative activity logs
- Word/token consumption for usage billing purposes
f. Use of Cookies
The Magai website uses “cookies” to help personalize your online experience and maintain platform functionality. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a web server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. They are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie.
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Authentication — to log you in and maintain your session
- User preferences — to remember your settings and preferences across sessions
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies through our cookie consent banner displayed on the website. Most web browsers also allow you to modify your cookie settings. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of Magai services.
g. Information from Public Feedback Channels
Magai operates a public product roadmap and feature request board where users can submit feedback and feature requests. If you choose to post on these boards, the information you share (such as your name and the content of your submission) may be publicly visible. These boards are moderated, and we restrict the public posting of sensitive information. We also maintain a private Facebook community group for users, which is similarly moderated.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through any public-facing channel, this information may be collected and used by others outside of our control.
3. How We Use Your Personal Information
Magai collects and uses your personal information for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service — to operate, maintain, and deliver the features and functionality of the Magai platform, including routing your prompts and content to your selected AI models and returning generated outputs
- Account Management — to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and manage your subscription
- Usage Tracking & Billing — to track word/token consumption, enforce plan limits, and facilitate accurate billing
- Product Improvement — to analyze anonymized and aggregated usage data (with all PII removed) to improve platform features, performance, and user experience. This anonymized data is used internally only and is never shared with third parties.
- Customer Support — to respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide assistance
- Security — to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues
- Communications — to send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts), service updates, and (with your consent) marketing and promotional communications
- Advertising Measurement — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns through conversion tracking pixels (Meta, X, Google Ads), as described in Section 2d
- Legal Compliance — to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests
4. How Your Content Flows Through the Platform (AI Data Handling)
This section explains how Magai handles your content as a generative AI platform:
a. Prompt & Content Routing
When you submit a prompt, upload content, or request an AI generation, Magai routes that input to the third-party AI model you have selected. Magai acts as an intermediary — we transmit your input to the selected provider’s API and return the generated output to you.
b. Third-Party AI Model Providers
The AI models available on the Magai platform are operated by third-party providers. As of the date of this policy, these include:

We select AI providers that commit, via their API terms of service, to not training on data submitted through their APIs. However, each provider’s data practices are governed by their own API terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review the applicable provider’s policies for your own satisfaction.
c. Magai’s Commitment
- Magai does not use your prompts, conversations, or generated content to train any proprietary Magai AI models.
- Magai does not sell, license, or share your user-generated content with any third party other than the AI model provider you have selected for a given interaction, and the infrastructure providers necessary to deliver the service.
- Your prompts, inputs, and generated content processed by AI models through Magai are transmitted solely for the purpose of fulfilling your request and are not used for any other purpose by Magai.
5. Sharing Information with Third Parties
Magai is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
a. Third-Party AI Model Providers
As described in Section 4, your prompts and content are transmitted to the AI model provider you select in order to process your requests and return generated outputs.
b. Infrastructure & Service Providers
We use trusted third-party vendors to help operate and deliver the Magai platform. These vendors may have access to user data only as necessary to perform their services and are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations. Our current service providers include:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting and storage
- DigitalOcean — cloud hosting
- Vercel — application hosting and deployment
- Render — application hosting
- Fal.ai — custom model training infrastructure
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- SendGrid — email delivery
- ConvertKit — marketing email communications
- Intercom — customer support and messaging
- Slack — internal operations and customer communication
- Revato — revenue recovery services
c. Analytics & Advertising Partners
As described in Section 2d, behavioral data (not linked to your Magai account or PII) is transmitted to Google Analytics, Fathom Analytics, Meta, X (Twitter), and Google Ads for analytics and advertising conversion measurement purposes.
d. Team Members
If you are part of a team on Magai, other team members and team administrators can see your name and email address. All content you create or generate (chats, images, prompts, personas, etc.) is private by default and cannot be seen by any other team members unless you explicitly share it with them directly or add it to a shared folder.
e. Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
f. Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, user data may be among the assets transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the platform of any such change in ownership or use of your personal information.
g. With Your Consent
We may share your information for any purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection, with your explicit consent.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
- Account Data — retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, your account data is soft-deleted (marked for deletion but retained in our systems). Soft-deleted data is fully recoverable during the retention window described below.
- User-Generated Content (chats, images, files, personas, prompts, workspace data) — retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, this content is soft-deleted alongside your account data.
- Hard Deletion & Backup Purge — soft-deleted data is permanently purged from our database backups within 7 days of deletion, consistent with our database provider’s 7-day point-in-time recovery window. After this 7-day period, your data is no longer recoverable.
- Custom Trained Models & Training Images — retained on Fal.ai until you delete them via the platform. You may self-serve delete your custom trained models at any time. Upon account deletion, associated custom models and training images will be deleted.
- Server & Application Logs — server and application logs are retained indefinitely for security, debugging, and operational purposes. These logs may contain technical identifiers but are not used for marketing or profiling.
- Billing Records — payment and transaction records are retained by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s data retention policies. Magai does not maintain separate billing records.
- Analytics Data — anonymized and aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it contains no PII.
7. Security of Your Personal Information
Magai secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure using industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including:
- Encryption in transit — all data transmitted between your browser and our servers is protected using TLS 1.2 or higher
- Encryption at rest — sensitive data stored on our servers is encrypted using AES-256 or equivalent standards
- Hashed passwords — user passwords are stored in hashed form and are never stored in plaintext
- Access controls — internal access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
- Multi-factor authentication — required for administrative access to production systems
- Regular security assessments — we conduct periodic reviews of our security practices and infrastructure
We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. However, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) the security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this site cannot be guaranteed.
8. Children’s Privacy
Magai is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately using the information in Section 14.
9. Email Communications
From time to time, Magai may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. To improve our services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Magai or click on a link therein.
If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Magai, you may opt out of such communications at any time by clicking on the UNSUBSCRIBE link provided in the email. Please note that you may not opt out of transactional emails related to your account (such as password resets, billing receipts, and critical service notifications).
10. International Data Transfers
Magai is based in the United States, and our servers and service providers are located in the United States. If you access the Magai platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence.
By using the Magai platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and the processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers where required, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as applicable.

- Right to Deletion — you may delete your account at any time through the platform’s account settings. Upon deletion, your data is soft-deleted and permanently purged within 7 days. You may also request deletion of specific data by contacting support.
- Right to Data Portability — you may request a machine-readable export of your personal data by contacting support.
- Right to Opt Out of Marketing — you may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Right to Opt Out of Tracking — you may manage your cookie and tracking preferences through our cookie consent banner displayed on the website. You may also configure your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
For California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
